Question   Great way to begin my day!
It's been awhile since visiting your website so I made a date with a cup of coffee, my iPad and your site for this morning. What a great way to start my day! The colors, the way you capture the moment, the light and, my favorite, the people. Your love of humanity and creation shines through your work. You have a gift so keep up the good work.

- Nancy Johnson 9/18/2012 7:34:54 AM

  Answer Terry,
Thank you so very much for your kind words! It gives me a lot of joy when I hear that others are enjoying my images. Your comment cut off after the word "can" so I am not sure if I missed something that you were asking.

Question   Love your work!
Gorgeous, Joan. You have an incredible eye for beauty and an amazing talent for sharing that beauty with the rest of us. Thank you!

- Teresa Stickney Kato 10/31/2010 3:00:45 PM

Answer Teresa, Thanks so much for your nice compliments. I appreciate that you took the time to look at my images. It is really fulfilling for me to share what I consider beauty with others, creating them is only part one -- the completion is in the sharing with others. Then the cherry on top is when someone like you shares that you enjoyed seeing them. Thanks again for completing my fulfillment Teresa!

Question   Photos
Wow! Wow!! Wow!!! You have been given such a gift in seeing Creation, and then to be able to help us see it as well! It certainly seems as though you've found your niche and calling after leaving Amsterdam. I say it again -- WOW! Thanks so much for helping me to better see the Father's remarkable works; I'm the richer for it!

- Mary Vance T (Vance) Berlin 9/28/2010 10:26:28 AM

Thank you so much for your compliments and your encouraging words. Thanks for visiting my website & having a look at my photographs. The creative process is very fulfilling for me, but it is the most fulfilling when I am able to share the beauty that I see with others. Thanks!

Question   Water
Hi! :) I absolutely love your work. the colours and textures, everything... its beautiful... one question though... how do you get the rippled water in alot of your "artistic" shots? ... is it photo shopped in? if so... how? .... look forward to hearing from you.

- Rebecca D'Ath-Weston 8/30/2010 12:33:10 AM

Answer Hello Rebecca! Thank you for visiting my website. I am glad you enjoy my work, thank you for your compliments. To answer your question, on several images in the "artistic" category I used a flood filter which is a plug-in filter that will work with Photoshop (it doesn't come with Photoshop, but is sold by Flaming Pear). It just simply liquifies the portion of the image you want it to & has many adjustments for different effects. I used it on Moonlight Drift, Safe Refuge, Uncharted Waters, Greeting the New Dawn, Urban Shock, & Paris Submerged. It can be fun, but works much better with some images than others. Are you a photographer? Thanks again Rebecca!

- Joan H.  8/30/2010 9:10:52 AM

Answer Hi ... thanks for that... :) I will look into it :)
and yehh well I HOPE to be when I leave school... still an ammiture dreamer ...ha.
and yehh I hope to experiment with something like that...so did you just buy it or download it or?

looking forward to hearing from you. thanks :)

- rebecca D'Ath-Weston  8/31/2010 5:00:40 AM

  Answer Rebecca,
I think being an amateur dreamer is a great launching pad! I downloaded the Flood filter -- I did pay for it, but I don't remember how much. It was not expensive. Go to flamingpear.com and you will find links for the Flood filter there.
Good luck!
